The contamination in Zimbabwe is extensive, with some of the most densely laid minefields in the world. Given the high cost of demining, ZIMAC alone cannot finish the job. It requires support from all government departments and ministries. The willing Partners have contributed considerably to the safe release of vast tracts of land. This has been possible curtesy of the willing donors. Contributing to demining is contributing to poverty reduction in these communities and facilitating the achievement of  the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). ZIMAC calls for support in any form to the Centre, the cooperating partner organisations who are fully donor funded, or to victims and communities who are at risk. No support is too little.
