ICRC

The ICRC, contributed a lot to the Zimbabwe mine action programme. The relationship started in 2012. Their main focus was on capacity building in the form of training and equipping both ZIMAC and NMCU. A lot of courses were run by ICRC facilitators. These include Management and Operations Officers, EOD, EORE, QA/QC and Train the Trainer courses. The organisation purchased a host of demining equipment that is detectors, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) tools kits, tents, computers, printers and Mine Risk Education (MRE) material.
